Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Appliance People Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use our services.

Services Description

Appliance People Inc. provides professional appliance repair and installation services for residential and commercial customers. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Refrigerator repair and maintenance
• Washing machine repair
• Dryer repair and vent cleaning
• Oven, range, and cooktop repair
• Dishwasher repair
• Appliance installation services
• Emergency appliance repair services

Service Appointments

Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time. Appointment windows are provided as estimates; actual arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, or previous service calls.

Cancellation Policy

We request at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50. If our technician arrives and cannot access the property or the appliance, a trip fee of $79.95 will be charged.

Service Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance(s) requiring service. This includes:

• Clear access to the appliance location
• Adequate lighting in the work area
• Adult presence (18+) during the service visit
• Pets secured or removed from the work area

Pricing and Payment

Service Call Fee

A service call fee of $79.95 is charged for the technician's visit and diagnosis. This fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.

Repair Estimates

Before any repair work begins, you will receive a written estimate including parts and labor. The estimate is valid for 30 days. There is no obligation to proceed with the repair if you choose not to accept the estimate.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept:

• All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
• Debit cards
• Cash
• Personal checks (with valid ID)

Warranty

All repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we will repair it at no additional charge. The warranty does not cover:

• Issues unrelated to the original repair
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
• Acts of nature (power surges, floods, etc.)
• Parts supplied by the customer

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appliance People Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of use of the appliance
• Spoiled food or other perishables
• Water damage or other property damage
• Business interruption or lost profits

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Disclaimer

Appliance People Inc. is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any appliance manufacturer. All brand names and trademarks mentioned on our website or in our materials are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your appliance and the issue
• Ensure an adult (18+) is present during the service visit
• Provide safe access to the work area
• Inform us of any hazards or special conditions at your location
• Pay for services rendered according to our payment terms

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Appliance People Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the website's operation
• Transmit viruses or other harmful code
• Collect personal information about other users

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
